As Libby Doggett, U.S. Dept. of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary of Policy and Early Learning, said when she joined us at the Sugar Hill Museum Preschool yesterday, "this is one of the best centers I have ever been in in my life!"
We couldn't agree more.
It was a privilege to welcome Libby along with Mayor de Blasio and other early childhood educators and advocates who gathered at Sugar Hill to share the findings of the national State of Preschool Report from the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER), which highlighted New York's successful Pre-K expansion.
