Interview with Freddy Rodriguez
Freddy Rodríguez was born in the Dominican Republic and based in New York City since 1963. Freddy studied painting atThe New School. His work has been exhibited abroad and nationally at The Jersey City Museum, El Museo del Barrio, and the CUE Foundation. His work has been collected by The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Queens Museum, andMuseo de Las Casas Reales, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. And in 2006 Freddy was commissioned by the City of New York to design the memorial to victims of American Airlines Flight 587 crash.
